Two weeks from now wedding season will be here! May starts the wedding season rush that usually ends sometime in November. I cannot tell you how much I love wedding season. Seeing the groom cry during the first look, the father daughter dance and the moment the bride takes her first step down the aisle, these are the moments to die for when you have a camera in your hands.
when the bride and groom have their first few moments alone. They can talk, laugh, breath and just be themselves. Those always turn out to be my favorite photos. You think of all the time and effort that goes in to planning your special day. After the vows, when the greeting line has finally ended, those few minutes without hundreds of people surrounding you these are the forever photos that you will show your kids one day.
Did I mention how much I love sunset photos? The weather sometimes doesn't cooperate, but when it does, magical.
This wedding it poured and I mean POURED. We were in the middle of a blazing hot summer with little rain thus far and the entire day was torrents of rain. The bride and groom were fabulous (of course) and we got some incredible photos after the ceremony when the rain slowed down to a moderate drizzle. As the reception was going on the rain stopped and the clouds began to clear. The entire reception hall turned pink from the color of the sky. We ran outside for a few minutes and got this photo. That sky? 100% real.
Are you getting married in 2019? We are still booking!
